Today we’d like to introduce you to Nacho Londoño.
Nacho Londoño, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I was introduced to music at the age 7 when new neighbors moved in the neighborhood. Since then I start collection tapes, vinyl’s and tapes of my favorite bands. When I moved to Miami at the age of 17 I start getting involved in the Program call Rock Ensemble at Miami Beach senior high.
There I began to learn about sound engineering and live performing. when I left high school, I got enroll to Miami College to study music but in a short time I realized it wasnt for me. So, I start playing open mics and every venue I could plug in.
After playing in different bands I went solo for a while and travel with my acoustic guitar after several years of traveling I decide to come back to Miami and form my band called Arboles Libres and Eagle Chief after seven years together and many tours I decide to come back to my solo project and record my dream record. Now I’m back in the studio working on my second record.
We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I’m a musician/singer songwriter. Writing songs for me it’s been a beautiful journey not because it has helped me but because I been able to share and learn about other people life and their journeys too. Writing music for me it’s the perfect way to share our light with other people, when I play shows the connection with the crowd its beyond anything I have experience. I want people to travel far and for that moment to forget about the everyday life and travel to any place that ease their minds and souls.
What do you know now that you wished you had learned earlier?
The best advice is to always to be truth to yourself your sound and your path, don’t ever compare yourself to anyone else cause you are unique and life has plan for you to be more patience and spend less time daydreaming hahaha
